Our President Dr. Suhas Patankar receives the Max Jakob Award

Our President Dr. Suhas Patankar received the Max Jakob Award for 2009, the highest honor in the field of heat transfer, for his pioneering contributions to Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer. The award is given annually by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in recognition of eminent achievement.

The award ceremony was held on July 21, 2009 at the 2009 ASME Summer Heat Transfer Conference in San Francisco. Dr. Patankar spoke on “Airflow and Cooling in a Data Center.”
