Aperture and TileFlow Collaboration
September 15, 2008
Today Aperture announced an important collaboration that will better prepare global data centers with the tools for analyzing and solving power and cooling management issues. Aperture and Innovative Research Inc. (IRI), the provider of TileFlow™, will begin a collaboration that brings together Aperture's breakthrough data center planning, management and monitoring product, Aperture VISTA, and TileFlow, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) product designed for calculating airflow patterns and temperature distribution in data centers.
Aperture VISTA and TileFlow complement each other perfectly - customers will be able to efficiently predict and identify cooling problems in their data centers and better plan their data centers' future designs, avoiding disruptions and saving both resources and time. VISTA customers will benefit from the powerful simulation TileFlow provides for calculating airflow and temperature distribution in data centers. With this integration, the infrastructure data stored in VISTA can be seamlessly imported into TileFlow for CFD analysis. VISTA's ability to continually maintain the location and configuration of equipment allows customer to perform CFD analyses in an on-going manner.
